19662月出生于湖北黄冈蕲春县。现兼任沈阳药科大学制药工程学院教授,中国微生物学会基础微生物专业委员会、海洋微生物专业委员会委员,中国海洋学会海洋生物工程专业委员会常务委员,中国生物化学与分子生物学会海洋分会理事,中国海洋湖沼学会生物技术分会理事,辽宁省微生物学会副理事长,辽宁省土壤学会理事,辽宁省药学会抗生素专业委员会委员。担任《沈阳药科大学学报》、《微生物学杂志》、《生物学杂志》、《生态学杂志》、《腐殖酸》、《食品研究与开发》编委。曾兼武汉道博股份有限公司、中国(福建)超大集团、大连韩伟集团生物工程公司顾问。

长期从事微生物资源及生物农药的研究。先后主持和承担国家863计划、国家攻关、科技支撑、尊龙凯时人生就是搏z6com知识创新重要方向项目等课题30余项。发表论文110余篇,其中sci论文37篇,授权及合作授权发明专利22项,专利权转让3项、科研成果与技术转让5项。与多家企业合作:承担国家科技攻关项目"海洋放线菌MB-97制剂研制的生物技术",技术转让武汉道博股份与黑龙江卫星制药厂,2000年合作完成国内第一个利用海洋微生物制造的生物制剂产品,成果获黑龙江省农垦总局科技进步二等奖和黑龙江省科技进步三等奖1项(2004,排名第2);技术转让及与华北制药集团合作开展新型生物农药研究,共同承担国家863计划,近年来领导课题组从海洋微生物中发现新的抗生素超过20个,微生物新种3个,研发30亿cfu/g甲基营养型芽孢杆菌9912可湿性粉剂,防治真菌病害新微生物农药于20161月在我国首先获得登记,为甲基营养型芽孢杆菌全球首登新生物杀菌剂,系列产品实现了产业化。2019年和2023年,30亿cfu/克甲基营养型芽孢杆菌9912可湿性粉剂(爱诺标博)分别获中国农药工业协会2018、2022年度的中国植保市场生物农药畅销品牌产品。微生物菌剂"根院士"荣获"2020中国微生物肥料行业领袖品牌"称号。合作发明专利权3项分别转让给3家生物技术公司(2008年、2011年、2019年),其中发明专利技术转让山东威海金牌生物科技有限公司,共建"中科院沈阳应用生态研究所(乳山)海珍品生物饲料产业化基地",2013年实现产品的工业化生产,公司2014年上市。2010年合作获得湖南省科技进步二等奖1项(参加)。共培养及联合培养硕士研究生30余名。
