Prof. Dr. Lichun Wang, born in November 22, 1960 in Qian 'an, Jilin, P.R. China. He obtained his PhD in Soil Science from Jilin Agricultural University and is Professor at the Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Linchun Wang is director of the Academic Committee of Jilin Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Director of the National Engineering Research Center for Major Grain Crops of the National Development and Reform Commission, Secretary-General of the International Network of Black Soils of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, president of the Jilin Provincial Soil Society and Vice President of The International Scientific Centre for Fertilizers (CIEC) in Shenyang, P.R. China.
